Attention Albertans
(November 19, 2003 - FFJ) Alberta needs the
value added opportunities. Ontario has really opened for business opportunities
since June 2003, to the tune of millions of dollars.
A snack factory from California, a waffle company from BC, most mills
and bakeries in Ontario are all expanding. These operations are all
using Ontario grain, so they are relocating to be close to the supply.
Alberta grain producers, in the next three weeks, need to send a
request to Edmonton to move Alberta's grain industry forward. Have
the Alberta Open Market Test put on this fall's session, not in the spring
session, if at all.
Phone, fax or use email to push for the Alberta Open Market in the fall
session. Send a simple short message to your MLA, Premier Klein and
Ag Minister McClellan. Say YES to an open market! |
